Autralian Boy Snaps During Bully Attack

A person can only be pushed so far before he snaps. In Australia, a 16 year old boy named Casey Heynes, who was bullied for most of his high school life, finally snapped on one of his tormentors. On a video that has recently gone viral, Casey is punched in the face repeatedly by a much smaller boy. At first, Casey doesn’t fight back, but after receiving numerous blows to the face, he grabs the little bully, lifts him up, and smashes him into the ground. Casey then walks away before his bully gets up.

The bully eventually rises back up, hurt, and wobbles around as he tries to walk. He looks to be in shock over what just happened. Casey was later suspended from school and may be facing criminal charges, however many argue that he was merely defending himself and showing the bully he is not taking his bullying anymore. There is a Facebook page in his support.

As for the video of this attack, it keeps getting removed from youtube, so you can watch ir here and download it:

  1. I back Casey up 100 hundred percent, I was bullied at school and never once lashed out because then I'd be level ground.

But that kid was taking the biscuit hitting him in the face.

  2. Good for Casey. I always told my kids to do their best to avoid a fight, but to NEVER, EVER, let someone just beat on them. I told my kids to fight back. My mother told me she would give me a whoopin' if I ever let someone beat me up. What the H** is the kid suppose to do, let him beat him up? The suspension is worth it and I hope the parents fight with all their might the criminal charges. I feel for the parents of the boy who started the fight and that their child was hurt, but they need to know what their kid is doing. And what about the kids who stood by and watched? Why didn't they run for help? That is what happens when kids bully.

  3. Casey has me behind him, if that means anything.
That little kid had it coming. I mean seriously, the kid walked right up to him and punched him in the face. How is that kid NOT suspended? Also, what about the kid with the camera/phone recording the whole thing? That kid deserves the same punishment.

Casey, fighting only for self-defense, deserved nothing, and definitely does not deserve to be suspended. Seriously, what is he supposed to do? Get hit and walk away? No, you don't. You go back and hit the kid back for hitting you.
Walking away would only make you a coward.

I would also like to know what happened to Casey afterward, because that bigger 'tough' kid followed him, at least that's what I'm getting from the end of the video.

It was also nice of the girl to try and stop the bigger kid from following Casey.

Casey deserves nothing, and the other kid should be suspended and get detention for a week.

  4. Violence is never the answer, but merely accepting it while others around you do nothing only makes it worse. Go Casey!

  5. Bullies always end up picking on the wrong person one day. I hope this is a warning to them.

  7. I've been a BIG lad all my life. Used to get bullied at school by smaller kids. Name calling and the odd smack and then they'd run off. The one time I fought back i got in trouble aswell. Apparently if you're bigger you are expected to "behave sensibly" I was technically a year younger than the kid I smacked. My mum told the headteacher that she had told me to smack him and if he did it again I was to hit him twice as hard.
Totally support this kid and wish him all the best in the future.

  8. While I don't condone this kind of behavior, from either child, I certainly understand when you've taken about as much as you can take. Both children need counseling. We must be aware of what is going on with our children so these kinds of things do happen.

  9. I see myself in Casey. I was bullied as well. Casey, you are loved and know that you can rise above this. This suspension is only a setback and a set up for a comeback.

  10. Good for you Casey!! You sent a message. I was bullied as well, though I was smaller than my tormentors and fighting back would have landed me in worse shape. But you've sent a clear message to bullies of any size...watch what you do because some day it'll come back on you. I hope the charges are dismissed and you can have the peaceful life you deserve!
